Information you provide

Data we access: When you connect third-party directory services to Canticle, we access user profiles, names, email addresses, organizational units, groups, and group memberships.
How we use this data: We process third-party directory data solely to:
- Synchronize user identities between external directories and Canticle
- Provision and deprovision user accounts based on directory changes
- Maintain accurate user profile information for identity and access management
- Enable single sign-on (SSO) authentication
Data protection mechanisms: All third-party directory data is:
- Encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.
- Processed only by authorized personnel and automated systems.
- Subject to strict access controls and comprehensive audit logging.
Data retention and deletion:
- Third-party directory data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services.
- Upon termination of your account, all directory data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- You may request deletion of specific data at any time by contacting us.
- Once deleted, directory data cannot be restored.
Third-party compliance: Our use of third-party data complies with applicable API and user data policies, including Google's API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer third-party data except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Third Parties. We work with third parties to provide some of our Services. For example, our Third-Party Providers provide web servers.
